Elder John Leland
As I read the writings of John Leland I find his writings are filled with God’s wisdom and discernment. It is also most intriguing to me that Elder Leland often preached throughout the peninsula area of Virginia – where I spent my first years in life some years later! In his writings you find his wit and learn of his tenacity for the Truth of God’s Word.
It is a great honor and privilege for me to impersonate/interpret this man who helped to secure the great blessings of liberty that were purchased for us by the lives of Patriots in his day even until the day in which we live by those serving in our Armed Forces!

About me . . .
Born in Williamsburg, Virginia, September 11, 1962, God had me raised in a Christian home. To my great benefit, my parents lived for and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Our neighbors in Virginia expressed to my mother one day how they had learned many hymns – from hearing my mother singing them to me for hours at a time when I was a newborn infant! We were always together in our church services as a family. The Lord saved me when I was 6 years of age after He convicted me of my sin during VBS. That night the Lord led me and my Mother next to my bed and I repented of my sin and asked the Lord Jesus to save my soul. I was later baptized and surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus. God called me to preach in an evangelistic meeting during my freshman year of college in February, 1982; and was ordained July 5, 1986. Upon graduating with a BA in Bible and minor in Pulpit Speech, God has placed me in pulpits from Florida to Pennsylvania; and have pastored 4 churches in the past 30 years. Indeed God’s grace is most amazing, for He saved a sinner like me!
I believe that the Bible is the final authority for our lives in faith and practice. It is the Word of God forever settled in Heaven. I use only the King James Version and am an independent separate Baptist. My greatest love and loyalty is to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
